Article 1. 37th Foundation Day Anniversary of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University

The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University(DMMMSU) North La union Campus, Mid La Union Campus , and the South La Union Campus  celebrated the 37th Foundation Day Anniversary with the theme of " Sustaining Excellence in All Fronts" this January 15-19, 2018 , Foundation Day! is once a year event the students  really enjoyed. They are preparing a lot of activities that students and teachers can enjoy. Elementary, Highschool and also a college has a foundation day it was the anniversary of our school. All of the students are required to attend for the event because it has a lot of thing to be fun and happy.

January 8 . The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University North La Union Campus opened a Bazaar at the Central Park.

Day 1, January 15 . Monday morning , All NLUC students are required to attend the thanks giving mass wearing their Monday Uniform at the  Ortega Memorial Center. In the Afternoon, We have a program for the Awarding and Recognition Ceremonies  for the SRDI, NARTDI, CA guested by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III.

Day 2, January 16. The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University North La union Campus conducted a motorcade parade of all tricycles, motorcycles and the 4 wheels are involved to parade . And DMMMSU NLUC conducted a tradition game called "Laro ng Lahi" .They have 4 teams in the Laro ng Lahi which is the color gray, violet, pink, maroon. The faculty and Staff was enjoyed playing different games.

Day 3. January 17. The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University have the event called the USC GOT TALENT which have a participant in different campuses held at the Multi Purpose Hall of DMMMSU NLUC. Many students join in the USC GOT TALENT and showing their talents like singing, dancing and sand drawing there are also student show there magic tricks. And the students of DMMMSU NLUC are enjoyed watching their different talents.

Day 4. January 18. In the morning , the faculty and staff of different campuses in Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University came here in NLUC for the Awarding and Recognition Ceremonies. And in the Afternoon, DMMMSU have a cultural show held at Ortega Memorial Center. The Three  Campuses join the Pinagkakammayet Festival and each campuses present their culture like in Bacnotan have their DIRO FESTIVAL and in San Fernando is BUGNAY FESTIVAL and last in Agoo BAMBOO FESTIVAL. And also I am one of the performer in the street dancing and we represent the DIRO FESTIVAL. Hundred of Students came here in DMMMSU NLUC to watch the Cultural Show.  And the Three Campuses have a Dance competition each campuses have the participant like in Elementary Levels and in the Highschool Levels . The Highschool Level of DMMMSU NLUC the HiBeatDance won the Dance competition anf also the Elemntary Level they won the Dance competition.

January 19, Last Day of 37th Foundation Anniversary of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University. The Campus Student Body Organization prepared a lot of activities like FUN RUN SPLASH EDITION, AMAZING RACE ECO-FRIENDLY EDITION , TEAM BUILDING and the NLUC GOT TALENT. All students of DMMMSU NLUC are required to participate in FUN RUN SPLASH EDITION, but other student did not join because their place is too far from the said place which is the starting  line in Junction, Cabaraoan, Bacnotan, La union. Many students enjoyed the Fun run 😊. The students are enjoy playing different games in Team Building also in Amazing Race.And in the Afternoon was the NLUC GOT TALENT. Nluc students shon their own talent like Singing Dancing, Acting, and they have also the competition for the Spoken Poetry . Students are enjoying watching the students in their different talents.

Our Foundation Day gives us happiness to all DMMMSU NLUC Faculty and Staff and the Students. We are so happy that we celebrated the 37th Foundation Day Anniversary a successfully and we enjoy. 😊
